Sunday 8th November: Partner Reception
6:00pm to 9:00pm, Dionysos
Open to all partners both sponsoring and non-sponsoring, this reception is to thank all EMC partners for their contribution to the success of Momentum Europe over the years, and as a celebration of our success in 2009 so far.
It will offer you the opportunity to network on an informal basis in a beautiful environment. This will take place on the evening of Sunday 8th November at Dionysos, a beautiful and unique restaurant that has The Acropolis as it's backdrop!
Mini-buses will be available from the Athenaeum InterContinental only from 5:30pm to take you to Dionysos, where you will be welcome to pop in any time between 6:00pm and 9:00pm. Within walking distance is the Plaka area, the oldest quarter of Athens, and also the newly opened Acroplis Museum which only costs €1 entry, and is open from 8:00am to 8:00pm on a Sunday!
Monday 9th November: Welcome Reception
5:00pm to 8:00pm, Athenaeum InterContinental Hotel
On Monday evening, the conference kicks off in style with the Momentum Welcome Reception. Held in and around the Solutions Exhibition area, the event will offer you a first look at our exhibition, featuring an assortment of EMC software partners demonstrating their latest products.
As always this is a great opportunity to meet other delegates, and old and new friends, in a relaxed and fun atmosphere to start what will be a great 3 days of business and social events. Hors D'oeuvres will be served and cocktails will be provided, and our welcome to Greece will feature some interesting if not slightly “dubious” local characters who you might expect to find entertaining on the streets of the Plaka, the ancient town situated around the base of the Acropolis.
Tuesday 10th November: Cultural Evening
7:00pm to 10:00pm, Zappeion Megaron

The Momentum Cultural Evening is all about meeting old and new business acquaintances, allowing you to network together away from a conference room in fabulous surroundings.
This year the Cultural Evening will take place in the Zappeion Exhibition Hall, situated in the city centre and surrounded by some of the most important buildings in Athens, including the Acropolis, the Parliament building, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier; and the Maximou Palace. Nearby are the National Gardens and, opposite, on the side of the Ardittos Hill, the Panathinaic Stadium; Hadrian's Arch and the ancient Temple of the Olympian Zeus.
During the first modern Olympic Games in 1896, the fencing events were hosted in its circular atrium. During the second International Olympic Games in 1906, Zappeion was used as the "Olympic Village" and in 2004 as the official Olympic Games Press Hall.
With some exceptional entertainment, food and drink in the form of local culinary specialities in a fantastic building and setting, this year’s Cultural Evening promises to be a very memorable occasion!
Wednesday
11th November: Conference Party
8:00pm to late, Byzantine Estate

We are very lucky to be given the opportunity to say “Andio” in style at this year’s Momentum Conference Party, offering you the chance to spend the evening in spectacular style!
The Byzantine Estate is situated 16km from Athens on a hillside between Pallini and Spata. A plain stone wall, a wooden gate and an old cart mark indicate the entrance of this privately-owned, 35-acre estate which is the lifetime creation of George Nassioutzik.
The house is built of authentic materials and inside it is furnished with valuable icons, carpets, ceramics and seven large stone fireplaces. Not only a Byzantine mansion, it also has a distinct cultural heritage housing more than 2,000 unique works of art.
A unique evening is guaranteed in this amazingly beautiful private villa, where you will be a very special house guest. Live entertainment, bars and buffets will be available all evening.
