The public sector faces big challenges when it tries to succeed in bridging the gap between the general publics’ expectations for better service and the shrinking budgets, a gap which just got worst in the current economic climate where expectations grew bigger and budgets shrinked some more. In this session we’ll share some of our thoughts on how we can help you bridge the gap, learn from some of your colleagues on how they’ve done it, share best practices, share our roadmap to effective eGovernment and review some ideas of how you can drive hard dollar savings.

The solutions and case studies will provide concrete ways of quickly impacting your business and your operations in these challenging times.

Life Sciences

EMC reports on the current challenges and investment priorities for content management and archiving in the life sciences sector. Global research presented with the consolidated views of EMC staff in Europe, Middle East and Africa will help delegates compare their current project list to their peers. This is your opportunity to meet industry peers involved in SharePoint roll-outs, Records Management, submissions publishing, archiving of old applications in XML, tight collaboration with partners such as Contract Research Organisations and email archiving, to name just a few focus areas.
