What type of sessions can I expect at Momentum Barcelona?
A wide selection of breakouts will be offered at the conference, ranging from executive sessions for CIOs and line-of-business managers to extremely technical presentations for developers and advanced Documentum users.  Five targeted tracks will be featured on this year's schedule, as well as four further Partner Forum breakout tracks and some special vertical industry sessions.  To view the latest list of conference sessions, visit the Conference Program - Sessions section of this website.

Will tutorials be offered this year? If so, when are they and what is the cost?
Momentum Barcelona Tutorials will be held on Monday 23rd May from 2.00pm - 5.30pm.  These are free of charge to everyone who registers to attend within the Earlybird period, by 1st April 2005.  Thereafter they will cost £125 each.

What are Documentum Fundamentals?
New users are encouraged to attend these sessions to attain a basic understanding of the possibilities that the Documentum platform affords.  Running during the afternoon of Monday 23rd May, Documentum Fundamentals are free 1½ hour introductory sessions offering attendees a baseline understanding of key business application areas.  Fundamentals will run in 2 sets of 3 sessions, allowing delegates to attend two different subjects. 

What and when is the Product Advisory Forum?
Product Advisory Forum sessions provide you with the opportunity to meet with senior product operations management and staff and discuss a set of pre-selected topics. The Momentum Barcelona Product Advisory Forum is open to EMC Documentum customers and will be held during the morning of Monday 23rd May at the CCIB, from 9.00am to 12.30pm.

What is the Momentum Partner Conference, and who is eligible to attend?
At this year's Momentum Europe, we are holding a Partner Conference before Momentum Barcelona begins. On Monday 23rd May from 9am to 12.30pm, all EMC Documentum partners are invited to attend a keynote address followed by TechShare Barcelona for our European partner community.  If you have any questions regarding the Partner Conference, please contact roberts_karen@emc.com.

Who should attend Momentum Barcelona 2005?
Momentum Barcelona is open to all EMC customers, partners, and other members of the EMC community.  A wide variety of individuals will benefit from attending Momentum - including application developers, consultants, project managers, executives, e-business directors, Web developers, engineers, IT professionals, system administrators, line-of-business managers, and end users.  And because Momentum offers such a comprehensive schedule, it is highly recommended that companies send multiple representatives to take full advantage of all the conference has to offer.

What is the registration cost for attending Momentum Barcelona? Are any special discounts available?
Discounts are available for Momentum Barcelona.   Registration rates vary based on when you sign up and whether you register with other members of your company.  See the table below for registration rates, or visit the Register section of this website for full details.

What is the payment policy?
Acceptable methods of payment include cheque, credit card (Visa, MasterCard/Eurocard, Switch/Delta, JCB, AMEX and Diners Club) or bank transfer.  Registrations received without proof of payment will not be processed.

What is the conference's cancellation/substitution policy?
If you have registered for Momentum Barcelona but are unable to attend, you may substitute another employee from your company only once at no additional charge so long as you inform The Conference Office in writing before Thursday 19th May 2005.  A £100 administrative fee will apply to all cancellations received before Friday 6th May 2005.  No refunds will granted for cancellations received after Friday 6th May 2005.  All cancellations and substitutions must be received in writing to The Conference Office.

May I register at the conference?
Attendees may register onsite for a fee of £900/person for the whole conference, or at the appropriate daily one-day pass rate.

Can I bring a guest to Momentum's special events?
Yes, guest passes for the social events can be purchased by completing and returning the Guest Participation Form to the Momentum Barcelona Conference Office.  A guest must be at least 18 years old, and is not permitted in the general or conference sessions, or for daily meals.

Are special hotel rates available for Momentum attendees?
Special discounts are available at the four Momentum Barcelona Conference Hotels: The AC Barcelona, The Barcelona Princess, The Vincci Maritimo Hotel and The Barcelo Atenea Mar.  For details on rates and how to make reservations, visit the Destination - Accommodation section of this web site.

How do I make my hotel reservation for the conference?
You will need to complete and return the official Momentum Hotel Reservations Form for your preferred hotel, which is downloadable from the Momentum Conference Hotels section.

Where are the hotels in relation to the CCIB?
Click here for a location map showing where the hotels are situated in relation to the CCIB.  All of the Momentum Conference hotels are within walking distance to the CCIB.  The AC Barcelona and The Barcelona Princess hotels are right next door, and the Vincci Maritimo Hotel and The Barcelo Atenea Mar are 10-15 minutes walk along the seafront.  We will be providing mini-shuttles between these latter 2 hotels and the CCIB each morning and evening.  Full details can be found in the Accommodation section of this web site.

What should I wear during the conference?
Because Momentum Barcelona is set in a relaxed atmosphere and environment, the dress code is business casual.  Gentlemen do not need to wear business suits unless they want to.  The social events on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings are, again, smart casual.

What should I do if I require special assistance or have special dietary needs?
The conference registration process includes a section for special needs and requests.  If you require special assistance or have particular dietary needs, be sure to fully complete this section.   For any further special assistance, please contact The Conference Office.

How can I be contacted by other attendees while at the conference?
A message board will be set up on site in a central location, offering attendees an area to post and receive messages throughout the conference.  There will also be a message board at each of the four Momentum conference hotels.

How can someone who isn't at the conference contact me?
Messages for conference attendees can be left with the Registration/Information Centre onsite.  The telephone and fax numbers will be published here approximately 6 weeks prior to the start of the conference.  It is highly recommended that individuals who need to get in touch with someone in an emergency situation also call the attendee at their hotel.
